This free app is simple to use, so it may appeal to children. The following is to assure parents that Privacy is respected.
Summary: No personal data is collected, so cannot be used.
None.
Hadron Builder does not collect any personal data.
It cannot store your personal data
It does not transmit your personal data
No personal data is involved in the use of Hadron Builder
It's not necessary.
Hadron Builder is free.
It has no in-app purchases.
It displays no advertisements.
So it has no use for your personal data, and never will have use for it.
When you download it from Google play store, Google is aware of:
Your device type,
The Android version running on it,
The country you have registered,
The statistics are passed to me as a count of one more device using Hadron Builder.
For example, this means that I know how many Pixel smartphones have got Hadron Builder installed, or how many Hadron Builder users are in Germany
Note that this is NOT your personally identifiable data, just the statistic about another user.
Google play store keeps track of your account, in accordance with the google privacy policy
If you remove Hadron Builder ("Uninstall"), then the number of active devices is reduced by a count of one.
This does not mean that I can tell who uses it, or for how long it gets used, or which part of it gets used. In simple terms, Hadron Builder is not "watching".
There is no business. I have retired.
I'm hoping that Hadron Builder might make at least one person a bit more curious about the nature of physical reality, instead of wasting their time believing some of the baseless ideas that get shared.
I enjoyed developing it, and I feel indebted to CERN and the International High School Teachers Programme.
